Assessments focussed on operational aspects of your business are typically offered on a fixed fee basis where the scope and time frame is quite defined. These assessments are usually completed between 2 to 8 weeks from commencement.
3PL transition projects are planned as work streams within a program or stages from documentation through to transition planning and execution. Effort is based on estimated hours that we collectively manage with our clients to completion. As scope and requirements are usually dynamic, this charge structure offers a good balance for this type of project.
Technical projects that involve systems replacement, enhancement or modification usually follow a strict project methodology involving multiple stakeholders from concept to realisation. The charge model is a combination of fixed cost for infrastructure and a variable cost for development, implementation and support services post go live.
We offer specialist project management resources for a range of mini to large scale assignments on a day rate basis for the term of the project. ERP implementation, WMS implementation, Warehouse relocation, business migration, forecasting and planning implementation, warehouse layout design and modification are some of the projects we have supported as project managers.
Systems Implementation Process
Our typical supply chain project incorporates 4 stages: Definition, Development, Testing and Implementation. We can work on any stage of your project or take the End to End approach, which provides greater value.
Project scope, requirements, objectives, resources, milestones, contingencies, budget, timeline, governance and PM methodology.
Functional requirements construct, tender, vendor assessment, vendor selection, solution design, solution development and vendor management.
Sandbox environment set up, network testing, security, load testing, verification testing, user acceptance testing and migration cutover sign off. Go No/Go.
Implementation planning, sign off and shift to implementation mode for Go Live. Pre and post implementation support, monitoring and reporting.
